After a pilot phase of two years in the Department of Social Sciences, we intend to embed the AJSS more intrinsically in the institutional structures of the UvA.
The AJSS is looking for 6 enthusiastic students who are following a full-time programme in Social Sciences (3 students) and Psychology (3 students) and who want to be involved in a project group that prepares the implementation of our own student-led journal at the UvA.
In the period January-March, this project group will work out the future plans of the AJSS and research the wider possibilities of a student-led journal in the UvA. The AJSS aims to attract members willing to implement their ideas in the new board of 2024-2025.
The project group will be assisted to represent the new board of the AJSS and bring the development of a student-led journal beyond a pilot phase. Students can apply before the 8th of January and suitable candidates are invited on the 9th of January (12:00-14:00) for an introductory meeting with the current board.
